i built this heat exchanger to go with my warm morning wood stove. it heats up my 20x30 shop in about 30 mins

Neat. Rather arty. Wait until you discover insulation. :)
Suggestion. Put some foil faced foam board or attic foil in that corner for now.
It may cut your expenses down to 3 logs per day.

that's very cool .. maybe a fan behind it ?? x3 on the cleaning question .. it's kind of a double edge sword, because removing exhaust heat makes creosote form faster .. does it still draft well ?? if not maybe insulate the chimney up until the point of the exchanger

I have clean outs on the side. it gets Hot. the draft needs work. I do run a fan from the back and it works good but need work. I am going to insulate this summer or late fall.
