That looks like the upgrade to the Stanley 700, patented by a small company in SoCal.

Does anyone know about a vintage VARCO Los Angeles Corner Clamp Vise? It's stout. Is this similar to the 1970s Wilton V5 woodworkers corner vise. I can't find anything online , and will continue to search . Thanks in advance. Shawn
