Dumb question.
I have a work truck with a BUNCH of misc. drill bits that were on the truck when it came my way.
For the longer ones we use at work, the spiraling goes most of the way up the length of the bit on the masonry ones. The ones designed for wood, the spiraling only goes up part of the way.
How do I tell on shorter bits(4-6 in length) weather it's a masonry bit or wood bit?
TIA.
