DB: i'm happy for you, but still do your inspections and make sure you are getting what you think you bought. looking forward to pictures when you get a chance. sounds nice.
Yep, doing an inspection this Sunday, but I have a pretty good feeling about it. Previous owners have been in the house for almost 50 years, and I could tell it was well cared for before I even walked in the door. And walking through the house and garage only reinforced that feeling. Things like the perfectly trimmed shrubs, peg board lining the entire garage with tools, and some well thought out ideas through out the house - sometimes you can just tell that the people living there are proud of their home and spent a lot of time keeping it perfect.
While I will want to make it my own, it is a nice feeling knowing that it is ready to live in, and not a "project" house.
