Work bench base

I'm wanting to build an assembly/work bench similar to the wood whisperer's assembly table. 4'x6' Since I'm wanting to put it on casters and move it around frequently I'm planning on building a metal base for it to sit on and bolt the caters to the metal bench.
We have some material at work they are wanting to get rid of. 2-1/2"x 3/16" square tubing and 2"x 3" x 3/16" angle iron. The price is right, but the angle is still half the price of the square tubing. I think the square tubing would maybe look better and I know it would be stronger. What are you thoughts between the two materials?
With the square tubing I would set the bench on top of the frame, and with the angle I would set the bench inside the angle iron frame.

Mix the two. Make your legs out of the tubing and the frame out of the angle.

Thanks for the reply, I should clarify what I'm thinking. I'm building a wood cabinet base for the top. And the cabinet base will be on top of the metal frame. The casters attach to the metal frame, so no legs...

I have seen the footmaster casters and I was planning on trying them out for this. Are the thumb wheels easy to turn when lowering the feet?

Just stick with the angle iron if no legs. I had no idea what this wood whisperer thing is.

2x3x3/16" angle will be plenty strong.

I have a simple table with steel legs (from HD) and a butcher block top (6ftx30inx1.75in), so the turning mechanism is easy. I don't know about heavier table but they do sell the ratcheting version, which is about $50/foot more than the regular ones.

I've got several of these I salvaged from movable stage scenery. For me they're a pain to use. Not to mention expensive. They have a ratchet handle that can be hard to reach. But then I don't like kneeling down much anymore.
