Here is a few pictures of last weekend's project. I still have 2 more coats of finish to put on the top, but it is basically done. The butcher-block top was a freebie from a friend, but if you had seen it you would not believe it's the same piece of wood! Had to use 60-grit sandpaper in my air-powered in-line sander to get all the old finish off. These photos have 1 coat of new polyurethane on the top, and 2 on the bottom.

I built, welded, and painted the steel angle-iron framework myself. I don't know how I ever lived without my MIG welder. :shocking:

The footies are plywood, to prevent scratching up the garage floor (yes, I'm that ****).

LOL, I think I will probably only use it for light stuff and hardware storage. The all-wood bench behind it gets all the heavy and greasy stuff.

I have a separate welding table, not pictured, but what I really want is one of these from TP!

Now you've gone and done it DynoDave. I been thinking I need a keg-o-rator for a while now. Maybe it's time I step up!

that is beautiful. I would love to have a table like that. Since I only have room for one table it has to be able to do it all so it can't be that nice.
