So awhile back I stumbled across the now famous Steevo bench build. Like every other reader, I was instantly hooked. I initially planned to use my existing Husky boxes and a filing cabinet, but I caved and bought the HF boxes instead (because they fit under a single sheet of steel from the local yard).
The plan is to have an 8 foot bench over tool boxes and a 4 foot bench over my welding gear.View media item 60074

Thanks.

Note that Stevo's did not come with the custom kitty litter box alcove. I must trademark that....

That is a really good looking setup.
I can't get my pics to load from my phone, so I'll have to transfer them to my computer and try again. Unfortunately I have finals this week, so my project will have to wait.

Fixed it. View media item 60073

The slash-cut legs are to allow casters to be mounted closer to the body. Everything will be going on casters (the same ones that the HF boxes come with) because I plan to move when my wife finishes school and it will be easier if they roll.

Nice shop, I really like the lights over the bench. Where did you get the fixtures and what kind of bulbs?
Those castors look great too.
Thanks

I don't weld (yet). Is there a supplier of the legs, rails, and stiles that can be bolted together? I'm looking at Global Industrial (have another thread going asking about Global Industrial quality) and would like to find another vendor/supplier.

Those lights are pennant lights from Home Depot. I added the piping from the plumbing department to make the arms.

An update!
I was going to buy steel cut and bent in the appropriate size and shape for the tops, but I got this sheet for cheap, so I'll roll with it. If it doesn't meet expectations it can always be replaced and recycled into another project in the future.
