I had a blue point light that has magnets and flexed at the base for great positioning. Had is key here because after 8 months of ownership i finally left it on an oil pan and ran it over backing out of the garage. It works perfect but the base broke off and note it doesn't flex and hang by that magnet. I would by another one but the quality just isn't there. That light is flimsy. The did however upgrade that light to a much stronger version but hey shoe me what my options are.

It's got to be bright, flex able, magnetic and rechargeable. Durable is a plus. I use my lights constant everyday.

Ya I've had my streamlight for at least 5 years now. Have 1 at work and 1 in each of my cars.

He is asking about magnetic lights you guys... But since we're off topic why not a headlamp?

I like my CTLED6818 (pistol grip style light that works on my 18v batteries) it has 300 lumens and crazy long run time, i believe its supposed to be 10 hours.

For small pocket light, streamlight protac.

I carry a classic mag light on my belt. Beside that my main flashlight is a 4 AA stream light. I really like it, it is bright and fits my hand nice. Only problem is it only last a year at best before it is junk. I own two and both have been replaced under warranty at least five times each.

Maglite's little 3 AAA battery LED light, with push button on the rear cap. Don't remember what it's called but ~$28-32 at any big box store. Have dropped mine numerous times on concrete floor, tossed it to people who missed catching it, etc and it just keeps working.

Milwaukee m12 LED and the M12 sticklight. I work in a new car dealership, and these can take abuse dropped many times, 4 hr run time. The magnet is a little lame on the flashlight. Like them so much bought one for home use.

This is probably my next light. I have the older version with the second light up top. These lights work awesome and the one in the picture seems to be a lot more durable and stronger. My boss has three of those but he looses flashlights at an alarming rate.

Maybe you can have better luck finding out who makes this light ? I have scoured google.e-z red, etc.. and have yet find one like this.

I want a second light but cheaper than $77 off the truck.

Let me know if you do find it Thanks

Lighting,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,as you get older, you can't get enough:willy_nil

Was carrying a Mag Lite 2 AA with a Nite Eyz led conversion and was happy for a while. Had good battery life and the light spread out more then some led's I have seen. Was a bit heavy to hold in your mouth while working. Then it started going on and off. Tap it and it worked. Got frustrated. Bought a Stream Light Stylus Pro 2 AAA light with holster and I like it a lot. Only had it a few weeks. Light enough to hold in your mouth ( I know I am not the only guy who does this) and is bright. Beam is pretty focused which is handy at times. About $27. As long as I don't lose it and it doesn't need to be tapped, I will be pleased,.

I have that same bluepoint light, have had it for 2yrs now, Op was talking about. It's ok, thinking of getting something else.
But my main light is a streamlight stinger, i've dropped it from the align. rack countless times, dropped it in fluids, run it over several times. Looks like ****, but still works like a champ.

I'm kind of a flashlight collector, so I've had a bunch that ended up at work.

I keep a Streamlight Stinger in the work truck, but don't remember the last time I used it, or charged it. I carry a Surefire E2 all the time, and a friend gave me a Fenix PD31 about a year ago. I've been carrying that little Fenix everywhere, and I'm really impressed. It's only slightly larger than an AA battery, and I can slide it into one of the screwdriver slots in my toolbag. The battery lasts quite a while and it's been pretty tough so far. I love my Surefire lights, but the incandescent ones like my E2 just eat batteries and CR123s are more expensive than AAs.

I have a dual switch stinger which has become a must have.

But in terms of a work light, the Knucklehead is my favorite. With the piggyback charger I have used the light all day without running out of light.
