I didn't get any responses to this in the tools section so though I would throw it up here for any input.

I am looking for a light that I can leave in my vehicle and have great light output on demand. While I do see using this around home the time I most need this is at our vacation home. We are in a rather remote part of the UP where is gets really dark really early in the winter. Looking for something that has a li-on battery so sub zero temps won't deplete it as quickly and high light output so I can see what I am doing turning power back on in the house and unloading the car.

Does anyone have any experience with this light? Other suggestions?

I second the head lamp. Best invention ever. God should have just mounted one in every mans forehead. I also have a craftsman led work light that throws pretty good light. I think i picked it up at ACE hardware on sale for $20. It is a rechargeable battery that comes with a car charger also.

Li-ions as a general statement work pretty poor in subzero temps. Stick to NiMH if this is a big concern.
