Does anyone have or has anyone used the Work Sharp WSKTS knife sharpener? What were your thoughts on it?

Is that the little belt sander? I bought one. Does what they claim it does. It sharpens OK, I'd say with a little practice it could work really well.

Mini review.

I just bought one for me, errr I mean the wife, for Christmas. :)

A little background. I have probably a dozen high quality USA hunting knifes plus all the normal kitchen knifes, etc. Keeping them all sharp takes way too much time. I've had a Lansky deluxe diamond kit since 1992, plus various flat stones, steels, and carbine sharpeners. They all work ok to very good, but they're slow and some will scratch the sides of the knifes if you aren't real careful. Of course, it's hard to maintain an exact angle with stones and steels as they don't have a guide.

So anyway I just sharpened all the wife's kitchen knifes including the 8 steak knifes with the WSKTS in about 25 minutes. 15 minutes of which was watching the very good instructional video.

So how did it do. Awesome!! There's only one thing wrong with the WSKTS. It needs electricity so I can't take it with me hunting. It's simply the best I've ever used and damn is it fast. If your knife isn't sharp in 30 seconds to maybe a minute and a half you're doing something seriously wrong. Super easy to set up and use. Just take it easy on the tips.

Not much else to say. It has a one year warranty and is from the same company that makes the Drill Doctor. I don't have any affiliation with them I just really like this tool.

Here's the first video I found on youtube. Start around the 2 minute mark.

I bought it and have used it for about 30 knives to date. Just using the first polishing belt makes a very sharp edge. Using the next belts makes the sharpest edge I've ever had on a knife. Best buy I made in years.

Yeah, I only went 3 passes per side with the red belt, followed by 3 passes per side with the purple polishing belt. Glad I stopped at that. Don't want them to be razor blade sharp. Next time I'm going to try just the purple belt.
I can't wait to try it out on some tools.
Worth every penny.
