I used to have a semi nice black and decker rechargeable LED light that worked ok before it was stolen.

What light to you guys recommend? also corded or cord less?

idk if you are a hf guy or not, but a buddy of mine got a led cordless rechargable light that is awesome from hf. I have a craftsman professional light with a magnet on it but it has a cord... the cord really gets in the way. id recommend cordless with a magnetic base for sure.

I really like LED lights, but I can't bring myself to buy something when the light fixture I have still works.

I like my no name cordless/rechargeable 16 led work light it has a hook and 2 magnets I've used it for about a half hour at a time so far with no noticeable dimming. A+ rating

I've got a Porter cable 18v lantern. Not the ****** flashlight that came with my combo, but the flourescent rotating multi-angle-able fancy handled lantern. Best $30 I ever spent. It gets used every time I'm in the shop.

northern tool has a good light their own brand 60 led cordless rechargeable light. got one for christmas works great.
