i want to build a work table for my garage. my concrete slab is obviously sloped to the garage doors. i was thinking about putting casters on it to make it mobile, but then it wouldnt be level. so do you guys put adjustable feel or level off your tables, or just set as in with the pitch?

thanks

If you are not going to make it mobile you can run lag bolts up into the bottom of each leg and use them as levelers.

I use floor locks on the lower side. They bring up the lower end slightly and then stabilize the table at the same time.

I have a 4x5 work table in my garage but it has a level floor. I put casters on one end but they are mounted "off" the floor. If I want to move it, I just pick up the other end so the casters are on the floor and move it around.

I just built one into a cutout on the side of the garage and leveled it when building. It's not mobile, but I absolutely hate things rolling off the table because it's not level

My main work/outfeed table is on four casters, but the work surface raises and lowers into a lower frame using a scissor jack in the center for the height adjustment. Once raised, the legs can be locked in place. I usually don't worry about it being level, but if I had to there's enough play in the leg system that I could lock them in at different heights.

I may be sticking my foot in my mouth but how often is "level" really that important?
I dont need laser straight but it needs to be level enough where I can put something down and it doesnt go rolling down the road on me
