Work Table Question

All,

I bought two of these tables off Craigslist. They are 3x8 ft with 3/4 in plywood tops. I also bought some 10 gauge metal sheets to cover the tables. The question I have is there is a slight bow to the metal sheets. Is there any way to take the bow out? I thought of placing the sheets on the tables with the bow up and then pulling the bow out with countersunk screws. Feedback?

Here is a picture of one of the tables:

Would it be possible to glue the 10 ga to the surface of the table? It doesn't look like there's enough sheet metal to put a 90 degree lip on each side.

Thanks. I'm not sure that glue would pull the bow out. I designed it to have a 1.5 inch overhang so I can clamp stuff to the table for welding.
