My building moved down the street and the shipping department was not taking their bench.

Freebie score

16ft long and about 3ft deep. It was custom made for them and cost them about 6k new

Had to build a new platform and it went together like kitchen cabinets.

Even had a space for the Fridge.

Started putting all my junk in to. I can finally start organizing my barn. Everything was in plastic bins all over the floor. It's going to take a couple of weeks to organize. It's so tall and deep I need a step stool for some of the pegboard:)

Nice score!!!!

Actually, I don't think it looks quite right in your garage. I am doing a remodel of my garage, and it just so happens that one of the stalls is 16' wide. If you want I can stop down there w/ a trailer and take it off your hands for you. :bounce:

Seriously though, it looks cool and you will love the back splash. Best thing I ever did to my bench. Good find!

Nice bench, great score for free!

Looks like the company got took @ 6k for a wooden bench with a formica top. But then again anything sold to a business or commercial operation gets a 200% markup anyhow.. haha still awesome deal for you!

thanks Guys.

George and the geobarn guys are awesome. They build some quality buildings.

The material they use is really good stuff straight from a mill in VT

Here I'll fix it for you:

Really nice bench. I like the overhang on it.

don't know - they said 6k - maybe it was less. It is 16 ft long and is like kitchen cabinets (6 pieces) Then the top is in two pieces and joined is heavy as hell.

I can certainly see if they had it custom made and installed it would cost them close to that. We are also in mass which may be more expensive than other areas

Shoots...try three years and I'm still not organized.

(Too much other stuff had to be done first).

Even in Mass that bench would have to be gold plated to be worth 6k. Nice score though.
