Can any recommend a pre-assembled workbench out there. 6 or 8 ft long. I am not concerned with material just as long as is is under $300.00

I made my 10' bench out of a used pallet rack. The top is 1/8" steel over 2"x10" lumber. It took about a half an hour to put together and didn't require any welding or fasteners. That was close to 25 years ago and I don't think I put more than $100 into it (less cabinets). At today's prices it might be a bit over $300.

I really like my Seville from Sam's Club. Some assembly required but very minimal.

I got a leg set and stringer from McMaster-Carr, and a formica top from Zoro. Parts were about $240 in total. I don't recall the shipping charges, but they weren't too bad. Going bigger (this one is only 4') will increase the cost a bit, no doubt. Assembly was pretty easy--probably as close to preassembled as you're likely to get.
