Couldn't post these in the made from scratch thread so I started another one. A few workbenches:
This is the first - I still have it but only use it occasionally. It is a vintage Little Tikes:

It looks like it is made out of plastic but I think is is actually some sort of high strength polymer. Again - this is an original LT - not some cheap overseas knock-off. The things on the front legs are not just a decoration - they actually work. If you turn one of them the rest turn. I have spent hours trying to determine how they do this - I think I am getting close!
This the thing that sealed the deal for me on this bench - it had storage on the top:

Another plus was that it came with a complete tool set! Again, like the bench itself these look like plastic but I'm sure they are made of something better:

The tools at work:

Once I mastered driving the nails in (BTW - I think you are supposed to use the yellow thing for that but the orange thing also works!) and got the hang of the lefty loosey righty tighty thing I knew it was time to move up.
So I invested in this:

Quite a move up. Gave me a lot more room to work with. Again, I like lots of storage and the cubby on the top of the bench really sold it to me. I also liked the fact that they put holes in the back part that sticks up so it doesn't blow over in the wind. That's some smart thinking. Also, notice the vise on the left. Fancy no?
I also really liked the fact that it had storage on the bottom:

That's some spare tools down there that I'm not sure what to do with yet. I'm sure they'll come in handy at some point. As with the first bench, this one also came with a complete set of tools!

They aren't marked with COO but I'm pretty sure I know where they came from. It's where those dutch people that make the wooden shoes live. They probably make wooden tools also. You might not have ever given wooden tools a thought until you realize that you'll never strip a screw head or round a bolt head off with them! That's a big plus in my book.
I'm not sure of the construction on this one - it appears to be some sort of wood that comes in different colors. I was a little worried about how sturdy it was until I tested it:

Yep - that's right. It will hold an entire car. A Jaguar in this case. I didn't leave it up there long - didn't want to push my luck.
It came in a really cool box also. I have big plans for that too as soon as I can get one of the kids to cut it up for me. I'm not allowed to have sharp things.
