On a new Workmate 425, the handles have too much play (for my liking) relative to the screw shaft. Although I haven't taken any measurements, I believe the handle's hole where the screw sits is too large and the handle pivots on the roll pin. I did add a washer to take up some of the slop but it's not anywhere like my 40 year old Workmate. Maybe I'm nitpicking but it does bother me. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you resolve it?

Possible corrective actions: find or make a bushing to sleeve the screw where the handle sits, or just have handles with the correct dimensions 3D printed..

Following up, I called B&D and they are sending me new handles. It wasn't the best of experiences. I couldn't understand the customer service rep and I ultimately had to give her the part #. I suppose this is how all companies operate now.

I'm skeptical of the new handles resolving the issue....... time will tell.
