Workshop Build - Ideas Needed

I'm working on a small area, that will serve as a work area in my 3 car garage. Mostly some wood working stuff. The area is 6X6, 9 ft walls.

I put up some plywood on one wall. I finished putting up some tongue and groove planks on another wall. Stain later. I do need some ideas on how to finish this 6x9 doorway, with no door. Load bearing wall it seems. I'm mentally stuck in how to proceed.

Any ideas how to proceed?

I'm confused as to why that wall is there. From your post, I'm inferring that you didn't put it there, and that this is in either a 3 or 2 car garage (both were stated). What is going on with the different floor heights? Was this area originally part of the interior of an attached house? What is above?

A wall mounted fold down bench top would work nicely. Put everything else on wheels so you can roll out whatever you aren’t working on. French cleat or some other detachable wall system works great too. Then you can grab it off the wall and use those tools outside in the driveway. A weighted curtain with the rod on the inside of the workroom will keep dust, fumes and sparks inside. Think, “The Wizard of OZ”. You might want to put a vent in there too. Good lighting and plenty of low and high outlets, baseboard, mid wall and ceiling too. Build yourself a moveable ramp to roll things onto and off of that platform.

It's only a 2 car garage.

When we built the house, I wanted a bit of an extension to my 2 car garage. I'm assuming it was a load bearing wall of some sort. It was initially just covered in sheetrock. I took it all down, built my gym on the right hand side. I was trying to conserve space in my garage. So, I broke down my large workbench w/ attached table saw station. It took too much space. I then just made a cart for my DeWalt jobsite tablesaw.

I'm trying to make that left 6X6 area into my small workspace. The center way, that what I'm confused on in regards to covering it back up. Do I just use some tongue and groove boards like I did before? Simple plywood coverup? I don't want it looking too plain. Just trying to get some ideas, cause I'm stuck.

Gotcha. You want to keep the wall; you're just not sure what to sheet it with. I guess I'd continue the T&G around the corner onto that wall.
