so after years of being very envious looking at all the different photos on garage journal of new and restored workshops/garages I have finally got mine to a stage where I can say I am happy with it..... not finished but getting close. So as this is my 1st post on this so I hope photos upload ok. I have photos from the beginning all the way up to its current state. Gives an idea of before and after. Thanks for looking.

Excellent job transforming that workspace, and making it so well organized. That's a nice looking lathe you have there. Do you have a milling machine as well?

Yes I bought the lathe used but In very good condition, no milling machine yet but it’s on the list!

I was admiring your toolbox / rollcab and just wondering; is this actually two separate cabinets set into a new base frame? If so, that's exactly what I am considering doing, as I can buy two 668mm (26") roll cabs for less than one 42", from the same manufacturer. I already have a 42" top box and the dual base would give me extra drawer space plus a bit of set down space to the side of the top box.

Yep, I bought 2 x used lista cabinets and made a frame out of 2 inch angle as they are heavy when loaded and fitted 4 castors, painted the frame lista blue and filled it with the plastic inserts from lista to maximise storage. I like the fact all the inserts are individual so the one you need can be lifted out and brought to a job and brought back again.
