hey guys ive a snap on compressor with a 200l tank my workshop is 60 by 30 ive ran the air pipe around the walls and i was thinking of adding 2 100l air tanks at different places along the air pipe so as i dont lose pressure in the line while using airguns etc and to boost the volume of air available. im using a 15mm pipe for the wall which is a lot bigger than the 3/8 air line hoses snap on sells. what would you guys think

I would have used 19mm pipe you have a very long run and you will get a large drop in presser. I think a large surge tank would help if close to the largest loads. Use only copper or steel pipe! Do not use PVC pipe.

I'm trying to figure what you mean. Pressure is not dependent on the tank volume.
Pressure drop is based on supply feed.
So if you are using over sized feed lines I don't see the reason for drop.

Or are you using say, three, or four guns at the same time?
In which case a feeder system like you describe may be the way to go.

But first, are you sure you don't have constrictions, or rubber hose in the system?
Rubber hose expands and kills pressure at the gun.

If you put in the feeder tanks, position will be very important, keeping the feeder tanks near the work stations would help the most.
