Ok, I've sifted and searched through the flooring section quite a bit and haven't found what seems like a good enough answer.

I've got a pole-barn with a slab floor that I'm turning into a workshop. It'll basically just be for woodworking and maybe some other assorted stuff. There won't be any oils or grease on getting on the floor like from working on cars or tractors, etc. Right now it's just plain, unfinished concrete that I'm guessing is about 10 years old? (It was here when I bough the house and have no way of finding out for sure).

What I'm wanting - The floor wasn't laid by a pro, or at least by a good one. There are rough spots here and there but nothing horrible. Really it's just bad enough to make sweeping a pain in the neck. I'm wanting to seal/coat it with something that gives me a slightly smoother surface and keeps the concrete dust at bay but I need to keep it under a couple hundred bucks and would really like for it to be something I could tackle in a day, maybe 2 - no elaborate grinding with epoxy, etc. In fact, I don't mind the look of the concrete so maybe some kind of "sealer" that is durable enough to have woodworking tools rolled around on it and maybe would help with the rough spots. (and these rough spots are like the difference between 800 git sandpaper and 120 grit... not like big chunks out of it or anything, nothing that I care to have "leveled". And the space will be somewhat climate controlled if that matters.

Any ideas?

I just recently used the HD40 from Legacy.

I did 2 coats and polished and looks great. It was 10 month old concrete never parked on. I did power wash it anyway and let it dry a few days. So from the dry floor I mopped on 2 coats 1.5 hours apart and polished. Start to finish that morning was about 4 hours and exactly what I was expecting. I needed a bit more oil and fluid protection so the HD40 was my best choice.

So for under 200 bucks and 4 hours labor I feel I got a beautiful dust free easy to clean finished product.
