Workspace by Williams folding workbench

Anyone ever see or have one of these folding workbench cabinets? Looks to me to be from around the 60s or 70s. Not real heavy duty, but clever and interesting. It has a built in vise at the end of the table, pegboard, and has a pretty small profile when closed up.

Nifty. A wall mounted workmate. That could be downright handy in a potting shed.

Never seen one before, but it's pretty cool!!!!

I've seen DYI plans for building similar compact home/apartment workstations, but never a commercial unit.

For all the searching I’ve done on this, I couldn’t find anything. All I could find out was that they were made in California, but nothing else. If these were made today, it seems to me they could be used for crafting in an apartment, they could have an option for a butcher block top and be used in a smaller kitchen as a prep station with shelves for holding spices, or used for doing work on computers. Really, an unlimited number of uses and designs. With all the vinyl printing/die cutting that can be done today, the exterior could be customized with a favorite sports team, fav video game, or anything you like (e.g. Star Wars, Chevy hot rod, American flag,etc.).

I don't remember specifically where I saw the plans ... possible Workbench Magazine??? I do know that I've seen numerous DIY plans in various places over the years.

I did find several YouTube videos for similar benches. Hopefully, one of these may be useful or maybe you can find other videos with other ideas.
