I'd buy a BMW Isetta or get a motorcycle, no way I'm doing that everyday, what if you're in a hurry to go to the bathroom.

Thats crazy, did you see how he has to move his car forward and back to open and close hid door. I bet that garage was made for a motorcycle.

House I grew up in had a 5' 6" high ceiling in the garage... It had been lowered to turn the "attic" space above it into a kid bedroom.

Good thing Dad had a '63 Corvette.

Bad thing he traded it straight-across for a brand new Diesel Rabbit in 1978, and I ended up going to prom in a beat-*** el Camino instead of a Vette.

No big deal those split window vettes (provided it wasn't a convertible) are a dime a dozen.

My girlfriends father did the same thing but got a '75 vette instead of a Rabbit.

Its a Fiat Panda and you don't get much smaller than that even in Europe! I'm prepared to bet that started out as an alleyway between the two houses and it got built over and a garage door put on.

Sounds about right, especially as the structure inside the 'garage' looks much older than the facade.

Could be the answer to the question "How do you convince the missus one of these is a good idea?" :eek2:

wouldn't be bad if he swap his kitchen door out for a pair of french doors. Me I take the whole wall down and park in the kitchen

Too skinny for an alley I think. I bet it was a tunnel thing to get the horses to the backyard in a carriage house.

whatever it is it's ****** tiny, I don't think i could get through the garage door let alone the Kitchen door. It's interesting seeing the way in which other people live in other countries- my cousin just did a payment on her new house the house is 400square meters with 50s"m of yard and we though it was tiny- a mate said thats a big house in some countries????

When I visited you upside down people it seemed the vast percentage of houses especially in the suburbs were single story, I guess when space is not an issue then why go up! Over here in the UK we're a crowded little island and space is at a premium. I can only just get my chevy through the stone gateposts into where I park it and it ain't ever gonna fit this garage!

Reminds me of my 76 malibu in a 10x20 tin can storage unit. If I had anything on the floor I had to crawl out the window.

400 square meters is 4300 square feet. To me, that is a very big house.
