I though you guys might find this funny, I am watching James Mays Cars of the People and they are talking about Kei Cars of Japan, cars which have no larger then a 660cc engine and can only be 11 feet long and 4.9 feet wide.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kei_car

When up pops on the screen, to my amazed eyes, what would then have to be the worlds smallest Snap-on Truck based on size :)

I bet they don't have a KRL 1023 or something like that in the back of that truck, I think the toolbox would weight more, and be larger then the entire truck.

Enjoy the screen shot.

I think it is brilliant. They probably just carry hand tools and limited electric tools. Theft probably is not as big of a concern and if you need a chest I am sure they can make special arrangements. The roads are smaller.

Why don't we have those here?

Not that brand, but the same classification trucks are here. We have/had a few on campus for deliveries. Problem is, if you're 6' tall or weigh more than 200 lbs, good luck closing the door or sitting in it!
Our local high school bought one to pull the wagons of band equipment out on to the football games. It's a cross between a truck and a motorized golf cart.

James May is truly one of us...this is evident if you have ever watched "James May's Man Lab". We ought to find his email address and invite him to check out GJ.

Japan has only ever used the metric system, Id be willing to bet 99% of mechanics in Japan their entire tool set fits in a hand carry box, Cars that are 4-5 years old are not very common in Japan

A guy near me uses a pickup truck and an enclosed trailer. I bet that trailer isn't any bigger than 6x10

:+1: I'd like to see the inside of that truck. I've spent some time looking at pictures of shops abroad, and it seems that the monsterous tool boxes many have here in the states just aren't as common. From what I have seen most setups are based off a 27" wide box setup. Most have a version of the KRA59 or KRA63.
