Anyone have one they are willing to part with? Prefer 8 1/4" blade, needs to be in good shape (no bent decks or excessive wear) but I don't mind cleaning something up or replacing the cord. Looking for a heavy duty piece to do those occasional big jobs.

Thanks!

I have a skill but I think the blade is only 7 1/4...not sure. I bought it last year, used. I used it building my shop. Now that it's built I really have no use for that big of a saw. It has some orange paint on the deck of it (it was that way when I bought it) but it works perfectly! Let me know.

I might could be sold, does it have a model number I could look up? I have a smaller milwaukee that usually does the deal but it doesn't have enough power to cut through dense thicker boards.

It's the Skillsaw Mag 77 It's a horse! I looked and it's only a 7 1/4 inch blade. The saw didn't get that much use from me. I thought I would need it to cut my posts but I went with laminated columns and didn't need a big saw to cut them.

Any idea of the vintage of it? Deck reasonably true? Adjustments still work properly? Cut as square as the operator is capable of? :p

I have no idea what the vintage of the saw is. I bought it off of Ebay last year before starting my shop. I have attached a couple of pics...they are cell phone pics and they **** but they will give you somewhat of an idea lolIMG-20110704-00026.jpg

The saw works and cuts straight...well, as straight as I can can cut:) The deck is true, and all the adjustments work.

A lot of roofers use them here. I've picked up a couple over the years, and have one 10 1/4" Bigfoot saw, that the blade guard is bent (it sticks), so I am considering ordering the replacement guard for the HD5860. (8 1/4" saw)

As a carpenter by trade I can't see the need for an 8 1/4. 7 1/4s are the common, thus cost less. I switched to a DeWalt when I bought my last new one. Lighter weight and built in hanger.

No interest in the saw Mavawreck? 50 bucks plus shipping?? That's cheap...I paid 85.00 for it last year, plus shipping.

I'll take it! Sorry I was outside in the back yard cutting boat gas tanks into hanging baskets for the old lady....dont ask. :D
