I have been looking for an extra-long worm gear clamp, but have not been able to find on the internet, Amazon, or Ebay. I'm hoping some Garage Journal members can point me in the right direction.

Several years ago I got half dozen clamps from my Dad which were 36" long. I used a few of them and have misplaced the rest over the years. My Dad passed away several years ago, and I have no idea where he got them.

Again these were typical slotted, stainless steel bands. They were 36" long, and were slotted for about half their length. They had a typical worm drive screw and also had a quick clamp, so you didn't have to turn the screw all the way from the start. I believe they were either 3/8" or 1/2" width.

I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. I need a few of them for a project, and would also like to keep a couple of spares in my workshop.

Thanks, Greg

The HVAC ones I've used have a jump and offset to clear the wire in the flexible duct. My house has big plastic wire ties on the ducts

To those who replied, thanks for the help. McMaster-Carr was the best source, and since they have moved to Robbinsvile, NJ they are relatively convenient. I purchased a pack of five clamps and will use two for my project, keeping the other three as spares. Total was about $11.00 for the five.
