I will be purchasing a new lift for my currently under construction shop. I have looked at and priced all the usual suspects. During me research I found a company in Dallas/Ft Worth area.... Worth Equipment.

I was wondering if any one had any experience with these folks?

Actually talked to Steve Prater, which is one of the owners. Very personable and forthcoming with info on the company and the lift products. Price for a 10,000lb lift is $3090 incl freight, AND AMERICIAN made. Warranty is 1 yr hudraulic components and 5 yr structure. Base plate is 24"x24"x5/8". Really beefy construction comprised mainly of structureal steel.

Seriously, considering purchase.

The Whip WAS10 is also around 2900-3100 and is another American Made option.

I bought one 2 yrs ago, and compared it to my buddies Direct Lift that he saved $600 on, and it was no comparison.

I think Worth has a 2 piece column and the Whip has 1 piece.

I think mine is actually called the WA102. I found it to be the best lift for the money and I spent months researching, and travel extensively for work and on my stand by days I pestered every tire, repair, muffler shop I passed by.

I've installed a "complete lift" 10,000 lb 2post hoist and like it.
their number is 1-888-736-5094, and they have a website, just google it. they are great if your serious about saving money.

Complete Hydraulic lifts and Worth lifts should not be mentioned in the same sentence.:)
