and a 30 minute drive to pick up this CL find. I already have one just like it in better condition but need one to put in a wagon for pulling around the yard to my parts cars. Now I'm looking for the wagon.

I have Adam aka rose jackets67 on here to thank for turning me onto my first Cornwell anything about 3-4 years ago when I bought this nice Mac bottom /Cornwell top from him.

Been in love with Cornwell ever since. But this and the other double Mac I'm restoring is it for me. My wife has figured out that it's not the purchase of the box that's so bad, it's the fact that "Every box you get, you just think you have to FILL IT!!!!!!" uhhhh baby, ain't that what boxes are for.

The biggest problem with this one is the PO had used something like vinyl to line the drawers with and it appears super glue to adhere it. That is not going to be fun. This box started out at $150 about a month ago and dropped in $25 increments about every week. When it hit $75 I figured it was time to make an offer. I offered $40 and expected him to counter but instead he said come get it. And he even met me half way on Hwy 316.

Man, the next time she says anything, just drive her on out to my place and show her my shop.

At the very least, she'll know you aren't the only one!

I was on the way home yesterday from GA (damn near Alabama) and the wife ask. Now that you bought another box are you going to buy more tools to fill it. I ask her if she would buy a washing machine and not put clothes in it, lol That kept her quiet for about 10 miles, lol I had to let her off the hook by tell her I was just going to replace a few of the others and recoupe the money for this one.

Awesome box. I saw the posting on craiglist the other day but never got a chance to call about it. $40 is a steal for that box!

I was talking to the guy about that one last week, but passed on it b/c I need another toolbox like I need a hole in the head! :spit:
