Hard to tell. Depends on why it is locked up.

I would probably offer the guy scrap value. If he is willing to take it to the scrapper he might be willing to sell it to you for that.

If it doesn't work out you could always scrap it.

I would offer him about $25.00 and see what he says. You can always go back and raise your price. If he finds out no one wants it, he may call you back and let you have it for that.

He won't take less than $50. With gas etc its not worth it for me. He says he can get 50 scrap for it. Of course, hes got to drive 40 miles so have at it brother!
