Just a local ad, but the top seems to be a KRA-58b and the bottom is similar to my late 50s Craftsman box.

from the picture it is a snap on box the slot is for the top cover to lock in when the box is closed

Worth it at $10,000? No. Worth it at $10? Yes.
Depends on how much you like it and the in person condition. It looks like it could have had a hard life, or just dirty, even both? It looks like there are rolls of drawer liner in the bottom compartment. 
Check the slide channels out real well to make sure they haven't worn thin or even through in areas. That is about tops of what I would be willing to pay for those boxes empty, in that condition. Yes you are correct it is a 1960's KRA58B.
