Worth Fixing Harbor Freight Media Blast Cabinet?

Had this cabinet for a # of years - it's worked OK for the odd jobs and size has been good enough for me. For Cons - It tended to 'leak' a bit particularly around the side doors (poor seals, poor fitment and locations of clamps). Always thought it would benefit from a light inside. And I'd always though of eventually building a stand with wheels for it.

Went to use it the other day and the plastic window was 'gone'! Actually the rubber surround had rotted and the plexiglass window fell inside. Not sure but guessing I can find a new rubber surround and I think there's a trick using a small cord, to re-fit the plexiglass back into a new rubber surround...?

Are these Harbor Freight models worth fixing? (and making other improvements to)? Or upgrade to something a little better? (though not necessarily bigger for my needs)

Thanks,

I have one like that. Paid $25 at the Cedar Rapids swap meet. I replaced the gloved, but it needs a new pickup tube now and the cheap *** Harbor Fewight replacement gloves totte out again.

in the meantime, I found a similar size Econo Blast or Econoline cabinet, made in Holland, Michigan for $75 in like new condition. It’s a thousand percent than the HF pos.

If it were mine I'd get another piece of plexiglass bigger then the hole and silicone it in place and keep using it. Or use it as an excuse to buy a better cabinet.
