On craigslist this evening and came across this box. He's asking 750.00 or best offer with all the tools. Seems to be a fair price. I'm not really interested in the tools that I see in the boxes but I could always sell them and get some of my money KRA 2007 Top Boxback. Looks pretty decent! If you don't want that breaker bar... well... nevermind. :D

I'd say go for it. I paid ~400 new for my boxes, and they sure aren't SO with a bunch of tools in them... at least I think that says Snap-On.

Yeah, they are both Snap On. There was another ad for a Vintage Snap On tool chest that they are guessing is from the 1930's or 40's. I'm waiting on pics from them. I'm kind of curious about that box.

Looks like a $400 set of boxes. I would not pay even $400, but $400 is a reasonable selling/buying price for those without the tools. Better be sure you have at least $300 worth of tools to re-sell in there if you jump on that.

Wow, people must be smokin crack for the prices they are asking on their used truck boxes. At 30% of retail price it comes out to 685.00 just for the boxes. People must be a lot hungrier where you live back2class.

30% of retail is about typical selling price hate to tell ya on truck brand boxes. On top of that, these little Snap-On Kra boxes are little more than a Craftsman box with a fancier badge, so most people who need a box this size go that route. You can consider it a good deal if you pay 25%. KRA's bring **** money. I paid $800 last year for this 6 piece KRA setup. Tried for a month to sell it here for 30% of retail. Ended up selling off the top and bottom for $1,200. That's less than 30% of retail and the top was in brand new condition. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60204 It's your money, spend it however you like.

Well, finances have been too tight as of late to flip boxes so I have not done much in the last 6 months. Typicaly Box goes back on CL, but I am centered between Atlanta and 3 good size cities to the north and they get listed there. I ebay off the tools and smaller boxes, and if the box is odd with a limited market like my Taco Wagon I had, (paid $425 with some tools) I also Ebay. That sold for $650ish there, where as it got no intrest on CL for weeks. Not much money in boxes. The gold is boxes with tools.
