I have a sears 5hp 20 gal unit and still runs fine, except its leaking oil. Its running on the tank and around the base of the motor. Looks like it also leaked from the head. Hard to say where it all leaking. When i check oil level its right . So its not pouring out. I have changed it several times since i bought it used. Question is should i stick the money into it,or spend it towards a new compressor? thanks 8n

It looks like you can get the head gasket and the oil pan gasket for around $30. They discontinued the rings and piston according to sears parts. If it still pumps strong buy the gaskets and just replace those. If you think it needs more than that its probably more cost effective to get something else. Or just keep adding oil.

I think you can find them all on mastertoolrepair website. I have a similar model pump and got a couple gaskets at a reasonable price.
