Looking for a gunsmithing hammer that would have a brass head, steel, rubber..etc.

Looked on amazon and it appears it's all garbage...

Would like to see if anyone has of of these hammers... It can be smaller not looking for a BFH... it would be tapping in and out of pins and things like that.

Thanks,
-Nigel

Looks like he currently is out of them, will have more at about 2-3 week mark.

Yea the price is good it's under $40, it's quailty made and right here in the USA. Very awesome, can't wait to get both and then post up!

I've been a gunsmith/armorer for 40 years and never heard of anything specifically called a "gunsmith Hammer". I made a brass hammer myself using a lathe and a mill. I've also used a couple of blue point hammers including a polyurethane solid. Mainly I use 2oz, 4 oz, and 6 oz ball peens and a plastic hammer I bought years ago as well as the brass I made for myself. With the ball peens I polished the faces deep smooth and bright and then just used them. Still using the originals I got 40 years ago.

Smith & Wesson issues babbit bars for hammering in their armorers tool kit (both rectangle and round) and occasionally some enterprising soul will sell a cast babbit hammer on Ebay as a gunsmithing hammer.

That is what I was going to say. If you do gun smithing you would have all the tools and machines to make your own hammer. I make small hammers all the time. The sky and material are the limit.
