Would two smaller heaters be better than one larger heater?

How about installing two smaller "wall furnaces" on opposite sides of the shop? I've seen some available quite reasonably priced that are propane, direct-vent type. They have a built in thermostat. I thought maybe I could use them with settings pretty low (around 50 F) and then turn them up when I'm actually out there working. If my work is isolated to one side of the shop, I could just crank up the thermostat on the unit closest to where I'm working. Does it sound like it is worth considering, or just a waste of time?

My shop:
28'x28' with 9' ceiling, wood framed on 5" thick concrete floor with 8" thick poured concrete frost walls to 42" depth. R-19 six inch thick insulation in ceiling, R-13 three and a half inch insulation in walls. Insualted steel garage door and nice tight construction without any drafts.

thats basiacally what my pops has in his shop, however he didnt get blowers in the heaters because he didnt want any dust on his wood working final coatings.
I would say there great, efficient, and to just get a blower in it, or convection would take way too long.
