Totally irrelevant as YouTube video is 3 years old . . . . . no such thing as Chinese wrenches from Craftsman back then. THAT wrench 3 yrs ago was definitely Made in USA.

Why yes. I would throw all the China made tools into the cement sidewalk as it is poured. Best way to use them.

Three years ago? Jeep hasn't made the Commanche since the mid to late 90's.

Actually it wouldn't take much to pull off this little "stunt". Not impressed. I'd be more impressed it was being pulled out of a 4' deep mud pit. :)

I would loop the tow strap around the bumper.

funny story:

my father went to go do something similar to this with a pair of pickups off road (one stuck, one not stuck) and looped the tow strap around the bumper and wound up with a bumper attached to a strap and a still stuck truck.

turned out several bolts holding bumper in place had rusted enough to make them close to failure and trying to pull the truck out by it sheared them off.

he wound up with the tow hook attached to the strap too (same problem).

final solution was wrapping it around a lower cross member.
