very pleased, found this bad boy on craigs last night, went in late to work to go snag it. Ill post pics tonight. somebody really loved this one. It has what looks like beautiful original paint or an older restore. Only problem, all the handle parts are long gone..... price was with this in mind. darn these things are beautiful. if anyone has a line on all of the stuff at the end of the handle would be interested to purchase. It has the rods and is fully functional.

Nice find... Hopefully you'll be able and find the missing parts you need to get it operable again.

I just bought one for 30 from auction, have it torn down cause someone wanted it, and was going to ship it. All I can offer is measurements and pictures.

that would be awesome. I have the part list but no real feel for detail from the pics. If you could take some high res shots of the parts and lay a tape next to them for scale I can reverse engineer the parts. Im a toolmaker and also have 3D cad so I think I can get it back to factory operation.

heres a another picture. Got this and a similar vintage creeper for $60

thats cool, with this and the multiple pics Ive found so far I have enough to figure out sizes. Im not looking to restore just make it functional. I was thinking a skull for the end cap adjust knob, but probably tempting fate too much

stroke of luck, there was an SJ-18 on ebay, it was all apart and not functional but it had the handle parts I needed, but the owner did not want to ship. since I had so little money in mine already I decided to contact the seller and ask if he would sell me the small handle parts. He was asking 199 so I asked if he would let me buy it and remove the parts I needed and ship them to me, and he keeps the rest to sell again. He did it, and I think someone else got the rest of the parts right away, so mines getting finished up and hopefully another will be fixed in the process. I didnt want to spend so much but I think $280 total is still a steal for one of these. Will post when the parts show up and I get it all together.
