Any tips on metal polishing ?? I polished up a set of kooks stainless headers once many years ago. Hand sanded them until my fingers bled lol.

I'm not a Snap-on memorabilia expert, but in all likelihood they are not all metal, since they'd be too heavy. Most common presentation logo mugs are just thickly chromed plastic with some weight added to the base for stability.

So standard metal polishing techniques may actually destroy that shine.

I'd have to agree that was a serious impulse BIN. There's liking to use Snap-on tools and there's being obsessive/compulsive about anything S-o.

Those were local to me and I should have gone to look at them, just to say I'd seen them.

I am still waiting to hear back on if they are solid. If they are solid, I think they are AWSOME !!

The ad states that they are nearly 2 lbs ( assuming each ) and almost indestructible.

Those are pretty cool IMO.

I have seen ones that looked to be the same and they were in fact all metal. I thought they were pewter but could well be aluminum.

use a polish compound called Nu-vite
