So I stumbled on this forum while looking at overhead hydraulic lifts. This place is awesome! Of all the forums that I've been a member of over the years, this one is probably going to cost me the most money! Seriously though... I am happy to have found it. I'm sure I will get a lot of new ideas here. I've built a couple garages in the last 15 years. A 24 by 28 with a 9 foot ceiling that I used for about 8 years. Then I moved and built a 26 by 28 with a 10 foot ceiling. I only got to use that for about 2 years before it was time to move on. I've been without a garage for about 5 years now, but I think I've moved for the last time (hopefully), so I am designing my Garagemahal.... A 36 by 48 with a 12 foot ceiling and a 16 by 48 loft for storage. I'm hoping to get started on it this fall after I finish up some projects around the house and refinance. Right now I have to work out of my basement, which isn't too bad except I can't get a car in it. Motorcycles though.... No problem. Which reminds me.... My screen name in case anyone is wondering refers to a couple of my toys seen in the pic below. A 2300cc Triumph Rocket III and a 1200cc Triumph Daytona. The silver bike is my ex-wife's bike (a Triumph Daytona 600). She left and made room for my garage, since apparently I couldn't have both :dunno:

Let's see... you got a garage for your wife... That's probably a good trade...

...and you got to keep HER bike.... Sweet.

Yeah, I think it's a good trade. I let her keep the bike. I thought about keeping it since I bought it for her, but I'm just not that kind of guy. Of course, looking back at how she has been through everything, I probably should have. :lol_hitti
