I was just checking those out on CL today. There was an online auction that ended a few weeks ago that had the same type of stuff, and a lot were big snap-on ones. Not sure if these are from that auction though.

Nice lot of tools, if the guy was within an hour and willing to break them up I would be there in a heartbeat.

Heavy equipment/diesel mechanic. I remember growing up in awe of the tools my dad had (he was a diesel mechanic). Which is, I'm sure, the reason I am obsessed by tools to this day...

Looks like most of the items have either been in water or have drawn a heck of a lot of humidity as everything looks oxidized

Are you really prepared to take the risk in not buying it? What if you needed one under some bizarre set of circumstances, like a tractor breaks down in front of your driveway and you couldn't get your car out to go buy more tools, and the only way to repair the tractor involved removing a 3" nut??? Could you imagine the emotional trauma that would follow?

You might never recover. It's best to not take that risk, call immediately and buy the lot. You'll thank me later.
