i would be very curious to see what all is there but then again, when am i ever going to use a 3" striking wrench?

I was just checking those out on CL today. There was an online auction that ended a few weeks ago that had the same type of stuff, and a lot were big snap-on ones. Not sure if these are from that auction though.

that looks like a good deal if you need tools that big. The big stuff is expensive.

Heavy equipment/diesel mechanic. I remember growing up in awe of the tools my dad had (he was a diesel mechanic). Which is, I'm sure, the reason I am obsessed by tools to this day... :thumbup:

Looks like most of the items have either been in water or have drawn a heck of a lot of humidity as everything looks oxidized

When am i ever going to use a 3" striking wrench?

Are you really prepared to take the risk in not buying it? What if you needed one under some bizarre set of circumstances, like a tractor breaks down in front of your driveway and you couldn't get your car out to go buy more tools, and the only way to repair the tractor involved removing a 3" nut??? Could you imagine the emotional trauma that would follow? :shocking:

You might never recover. It's best to not take that risk, call immediately and buy the lot. You'll thank me later. ;)
