I am in the process of gathering stuff to fix up my shop. I have a 54x100 building....im going to put a wall down the middle and finish out roughly 54x60ish. I plan to do flash/batt for insulation with wood on the bottom 6 or 8 feet and then white metal siding on the remainder of the walls/ceiling.. It has a 2 foot cement wall around it....8"x8" on 8' center. It then has 2x4's running horizontally and fastened to the 8x8's. the metal siding is fasted to the 2x4's. I could easily cut wrap in 4' sections and run between all the 2x4's. What's everyone's opinion of this. My thought was it would help seal it up a bit even though the foam would do a fine job of that but also if I ever had to replace any metal on the outside it would be possible. it would be really difficult with the foam directly on the metal.
