the first comment says Snap On
The comments rule, sound just like here:lol_hitti. Unless they show the broken wrench it didn't break, looks like it slipped off to me:thumbup:

Agreed. I have put my entire body weight on a set of doubled up SnapOn wrenches and they barely even flex.

How can you confirm the wrench broke? It looks to me that it slipped off the hardware instead.

1 vote for staged. How often do you video yourself doing something like that?

i would guess the fastener would have let go long before the wrench. The only things i can think of in that area of a 3000GT are 8mm or 6mm bolts, and you couple that with Mitsubishi's known hardware problems and i see the bolt giving way while trying to remove the "stuck" fastener.

I think Chad has some PR work to do. Posted below the video:

He must of bought that from my Snap On dealer Chad. I think he engraves Snap-On onto Harbor Frieght wrenches and sells them.

This is the blurb that was put up on the page to describe the video.

"Mechanic is pulling on a wrench...won't mention the brand just that is begins with an "S" and ends with an "On"...."

And in a response to a comment he wrote "It was a Snap-On 12 mm Flank Drive wrench....."

I agree, wrench probably slipped or came off the head.

Almost lost an eye that way. Stuck nut (was 2.5 or 3") with an 48" adjustable wrench. It let loose and the end of the wrench slammed me in the face right under my eye. Eye came out.

:wtf::shocking: You mean, YOUR eye came out?! How did you fare after that incident? Did you(or a surgeon:spit:) get it back in?!

I had smething similar happen to me and a friend of mine
we were using a 1'' cman wrench trying to break a bolt loose on his tractor
we were both pulling on the wrench with each of us having a foot on the tractor and the other on the ground.
the box end snapped and we ended up in the dirt

What could you see while your eye was out? Could you see out of the eye that was popped out? I've seen a video if someone with their eye popped out and I always wondered how the brain processed the two very different images, and how the person perceived them.

I don't know exactly how it looked cause I passed out but I wasn't able to see out of the eye for a few days. They weren't certain I would have good vision again. It cracked the bone under the eye socket as well.

Luckily I was with a few people and they brought me to the hospital. I don't remember much any of it.

Looks like he was trying to tighten. Would have been pushing to loosen. Slipped or staged.

Depends on what side the bolt was on. looked staged, but could have been security cam footage. no reason to stage it if you didn't get to see the rest of the outcome.
