When you have all different sizes an shapes as you've mentioned, all the sized ones as posted just don't work. Been there tried that with the Erst.

Ended up with the snap on small sized ones, it just works universally for everything. I mean, who's sets are that perfect. I've got like, 5 of this 5 of that, some small some big. The snappy rails are best for that.

Currently have these Ersnt 15 piece grippers, they work very nice. Firm enough grab to pick them all up at once but they come out easy enough when you need a wrench.

Might upgrade to these though, so i can change the way they layout in the drawer

As long as the non-cman wrenches are the same length or longer, they'll fit.

Mine fit snug in the holders, but anything shorter would pop out.

Which type hold more wrenches? The ones that hold them at a 90* like the snap on or 45* like the other brands?

I don't know about holding more, but as you can see from the photo in my above post, the ones that have a centered taper cost you drawer space.

The ones on a 90° angle seem to use only the space they need and can be layered against each other.
