Not sure if this wrench is even vintage, but because one side is 25/32, I'm going to assume it is. Found it at a HFH Restore. No idea on who made it or when.

Williams. Not sure exactly when, since it's out of my niche, but definitely post-war, either 50's or 60's or perhaps later. Someone will know. 3bay. It was a short-lived logo.

Yes, Williams, and seemingly short lived as Lugz said. The wrenches and sockets are around though. Harder to find something when no one knows what the heck to call it.

Can’t find the thread right now, maybe it was on the Garage Gazette, but there was a major breakthrough recently when Twertsy posted the Williams trademark info on that logo. Maybe he will chime in and refresh us on that.

I long suspected Williams made those tools as I’ve found them in the unfinished state around Buffalo where Williams was located.

I do have the 3/8” and 1/2” ratchets with that logo. Here is the ratchet patent, circa 1955

Interesting. No idea I had a "rare" tool. I've got a couple of Superwrenches in my toolbox that came from my grandpa's stuff. So I am familiar with the Williams brand name. I wonder why they dumped a perfectly good script logo in favor of a single letter "W". Were they trying to hide the name for some reason?
