i do not think wright is pushing stuff off on epstein. it is just a standard stock item along with some of the sk. i think a lot of epseins sk stuff is discontinued sets and styles from the sk facom split. facom items and black oxide wrenchs are two that come to mind.

i see ok prices on the sk and the low priced wright are their couger line, not the actual top notch wright. the bit sets appear to be actual wright and are definately not a steal. am i missing something?

The real surprise is not really the S-K FACOM, but the Wright....

Why so many 'normal' Wright tools are being sold is what I am surprised about.... Companies don't sell to Epsteins unless they are phasing out that particular line.

The volume of the Wrights is what I am wondering about.

Ive seen those Wright socket sets on Amazon priced cheaper than that, I wonder if those are some sort of Overseas branding, because the ratchets are pear shaped and they come in a black box which is not your typical wright look.

After a little looking i believe its there "cougar" line or such.

You havent looked at epstiens catalog to much have you? They have a lot of things like Norseman drill bits as a standard stock item.

I'm confused. Those are just the Epstein regular catalog pages. I don't see anything implying that Wright or SK are dumping product. (It does look like SK dumped a bunch of screwdrivers but that is not in the links above.)

i think unless it is in the closeout or basement part of the catalog it is a normal item stock item that would be no differant than any other place.

To clear up any confusion let me explain.

Epstein's used to have a deal on wright 2nds, but Wright greatly improved it's manufacturing facility, so today they produce almost no 2nd merchandise.
Any socket sets that start with an "A" are the cougar brand. Wright socket sets typically have a three digit product number. We are phasing out the SK socket sets because they have become increasingly difficult to deal with.

We are a liquidator but we are also an industrial supplier. Our catalog is our everyday products that we keep in stock. Our closeouts our the one time deals that we buy on liquidation.

We have a new website that explains the two sides of our business a little better: store.harryepstein.com
