Wright-Grip best deals

Anyone know of any good deals on metric and standard sets of the wright grip. I checked the usual avenues ( eBay,amazon,craigslist,tooltopia) to no avail. I've never bought wright tools before, I don't even know which store if any sells them lol. So I finally decided to post here for some advise. Thanks in advance

Really depends on the size of the set you are trying to get. like how many pieces? What kind of finish do you prefer on the wrenches? Chrome or Satin? I'm a chrome molly man myself. What do you need first? and so on. Wherever you get them from one things for certain... You won't be disappointed with the quality of those wrenches!!

i bought my 3/8-1 1/4 set from heath tool in kansas city missouri and paid 247 with tax, and that was a deal. Epstein's can beat that price but not by much (just looked 238) but if your not local your going to save the tax and pay it in shipping.

they were expensive yest but they are the best wrenches i've had yet, though if you do any kind of work on things like chrome bolts, or things that need to stay pretty i wouldn't recommend them. The serration in the jaw leaves marks on the corner of the fastener

Damn. I was going to point you to the ebay dealer I got my wrench sets from, but he's finally out of stock.

Each of the 15 pc sets were almost $100 cheaper than the next place and he had a pile of them.

I'm building a set to keep at home to work on cars outside of work for some extra $$ so finish doesn't matter really (chrome preferred but I'll take w.e. for a deal) and it doesn't need to be a huge spread but if I find a 11+ set for 60 bucks more than a 7 piece I'm going to get that ( hypothetically lol) maybe nor searching right on eBay all I find is retail sets. Do guys not sell these after they get them?!?!? I look at. H. EPSTIENS and they have great deals I just.worry about shipping.
I guess I'll just have to keep searching. BUT at least from the sounds of it I'm not going to be disappointed lol I'll admit I'm one of those SO guys who preach SO for almost everything but I'm slowly branching out

That is a very nice set. I like the tray that is the opposite. Makes the most use out of the drawer

Those are Ernst wrench rails from Summit Racing, Summit is local to me so I just drove over and picked those up.

The Wright sets do come in nice denim pouches but I don't use them.

Last week I got some new SK's that came with nice racks.

I got my 3/8" to 1 1/4" set for $75 brand new. That would be pretty hard to duplicate thou since I got them from a fastenal surplus store and haggled them down from $125.

Is the offset on the box end different on the polished version compared to the satin version?

The 2 things that have held me back from buying the Wrightgrip wrenches is I think they are on the short side (I like long pattern wrenches) and I've read the box end only has a 5deg bend (as opposed to the standard 15deg) but looking at that picture, it seems the chromes ones may be closer to 15deg?

I just hate the stupid handles on them lol other than that those are the exact racks I have. I bought some of the "wrench rack" brand ones at a swap meet but they lay down to much. My favorite ones I have are from a different swap meet I go to every year. This guy has orange ones for 1 buck. Im Going to buy 10 this year and if I use all ten I have a problem lol

No, they both are 15 deg.

Actually more like 10degrees.not flat but not as bent as most wrenches.

I just bought sets 711 and 752 from Tool Barn. I wasn't able to find them cheaper and you can get $10 off by doing the email sign up as well as free shipping over $199. The down side is it takes 2-3 weeks to get them, but I wasn't in a hurry. The wrenches are very nice.

All wrenches the are made by wright aren't the "wright-grip" model are they

Up to 1 1/4" are wright grip wrenches. Above that they are what wright calls ''flat stem"

No, they're not all Wright grips, but they're all quality. But honestly, I've never seen a better performing wrench than WrightGrip. Some heads have better shape, some or more comfortable, but nothing's better when it comes to actual performance. Completely mind blowing when you take a look at what people are paying for SO FD+/Mac/Matco. I got my full polish WG's on Ebay for like $60. It's only a 7 piece, but the most common fasteners on these planes are only 3/8"-9/16".

OK that's what I thought I got confused there for a second
I have SO flank drives at work and I love them. When I first saw the WG I ignorantly passed them off as a knockoff that didn't work. I saw a comparison video here I think to a guy on YouTube who compared them both and they performed identically, the only difference being where the serrations grabbed the bolt head itelf. So I figure for home use I'll get these instead of SO.
As soon as I get them I'll post here what I got and how much.
