I think Wrights Standard wrench sizes are fine, When compared to Snap on, Mac etc there only on average 1/2-3/4" shorter in the standard sets, which really doesnt amount to much. With that said i would like see them offer a long pattern wrench set, but thats not what you asked.

I was one of them, As ive told you before my opinion based on real life use is that 10% either way doesnt make enough torque difference to constitute me being unhappy with there product. I would like to see them make a XL wrench set although and that doesnt make me a idiot, just someone who knows the difference between a 1" cheater and 3'.

Either standard or long pattern are both fine, infact it would be nice to be able to buy Wright wrenches this side of the pond. Which leads nicely onto a question i have for Ty... Do Wright have any plans to expand in to the U.K market?

I like them the way they are. These are not my only wrenches, so it gives me a good variety of lengths. As others have said, an XL series from Wright would be a must have. Imagine the easy torque you could generate with thoes nicely shaped Wright beams.

The only thing this poll proves is that people are hung up on Numbers, "Yeah i need a 3 Ton Jack because i have a 1 ton Pickup that i need to do some brake work on"....

No, I need a three ton jack because I don't trust the Chinese piece of **** not to fail. Actually, I need strong jack stands but, that's another story.

Personally, I like having a variety of wrench styles and different brands. It's boring to have all of the same brand and one maker might make a better combination wrench than his box wrench etc. If you guys want long Wright wrenches, email Wright and tell them but, also be willing to buy them new from a Wright distributor.

As for me, there is a bountiful buffet of standard, long, and extra long wrenches out there already to choose from. I don't need another choice.

Hiball, you're totally overlooking the supernatural impact that the tool has on the ability to perform the job! Here's a good example: last weekend I was lying under my car for hours trying to get the oil drain plug out. No matter how much I struggled, I just couldn't break it loose. Finally, I discovered the problem -- I had accidentally grabbed a Craftsman socket! I went to the garage to get a more suitable socket, a Snap On, and by the time I got back to the car, the drain plug had removed itself, and the oil was nearly drained...it was so scared of the approaching Snap On socket, it decided to take itself out! I've had other similar experiences in the past...as soon as I take my 2135Ti out of the drawer, the tires fall off of my car -- it's quite convenient! I'd imagine something similar could easily happen with a wrench that is trivially longer than another!

Who cares about the length all that much? Its a nice standard wrench length, if I need more wrench I have a ton of double box ends or a long crescent that will provide me with that extra length.
