Wright MN13 -46 3/8" Extension: spring and ball help

Hello,

Does anyone know if any brand of 3/8 drive extension spring and ball kit will fit into the hole of this old beauty of mine? The bore is empty,clean and sound. I imagine the overall depth plays a role in this, but I've never dealt with this before on any tool.

What do the GJ experts suggest ?!

Perhaps a call to Wright Tool themselves, they should be able to access records to determine the size ball required and possibly even supply it.
