I just wanted to show off some of my latest aquisitions. :D

These are both 3/4" Wright. I got the 6400 ratchet at a pawn shop for 20 bucks! The guy wanted 30 but I was able to talk him down. He must have basically gotten it for free. It can't have been used more than once or twice as the only scratches on it are from tool box wear. The previous owner did write his name on the handle with a permanent marker, but I'm sure I'll be able to get that off. I know there are much larger ratchets out there, but this is the biggest one I've ever seen.

I got the 6435 breaker bar off of ebay for $15 plus shipping. I was the only bidder and it really surprised me. What surprised me even more was when it got home though. One of the pins that hold the square drive on was missing and the seller didn't even tell me. I was a little mad, but instead of fighting him and ebay, I took it to the local Wright dealer to see what they thought. They said no problem even after I explained the situation. A couple weeks later I had a brand new breaker bar!

Now all I have to do is find some 3/4" sockets....

Nice... Those are fairly new also, Whats the date on the Ratchet? Should be a 2 digit code.

Not for sure what the K stands for, Wright now uses a 2 digit date code system, So 2007 and 2009 respectively.

I've got a Mac ratchet that looks remarkably similar to that one.

A word of warning: when you use it, do NOT set it down on the ground gear selector-side down: when I got mine, it was cracked. Mac replaced the broken part, and it almost immediately cracked again. It still functions fine, but it's two pieces. I think the weight of the head and any sockets on it pounds that piece that sticks up, and finds the stress riser at the base of that bar/finger grip.

Get yourself a 3/4-to-1/2 inch adapter to make it incredibly useful. I use it as the ultimate breaker bar: by the time that thing comes out of the tool box, the offending fastener is either going to wimper in submission, or break, but one way or the other its coming off. More often than not, it submits rather than breaks.

If I went into the pawn shop wearing nothing but a loin cloth,had only two teeth,smelling of cheap whiskey,the pawn shop owner would have charged me $2000.00 dollars for that ratchet. How on heck did you get that for $20.00 dollars???

Please come to my part of town and let me see you in action,they (the pawn shops),would have a field day with you. $20.00 dollars heck Huntington is only a few hours away , darn I want to hunt in your area of town!

My first 1/2 drive breaker bar was a 3/4 drive Craftsman 18" that was broken (got it replaced)and a Snap-on 3/4 to 1/2 adapter. Worked really well too.

You can. Either through Richard at trtoolsupply (I have ordered a few times from him) or

These guys http://www.entool.on.ca/ I have not ordered from there yet but the prices are pretty competitive with Richard. The first time I talked to them on the phone I did not get a very good feeling from them. The second time the person I talked to seemed a little more receptive to dealing with home users.

I am not sure where you are in Ontario, but if you wanted to see some of the Wright stuff I got before buying let me know.

I have the ratchets, screw drivers, and a few socket sets.
