I was at the local tool store and I needed (wanted) a new 1/2 drive, 1 1/8 socket. I was replacing a craftsman socket than is getting worn and I will retire it to the house tools from the service truck.
So the clerk tells me the Wright tools are on sale so I picked up the socket and a 15 inch 1/2 drive ratchet. The ratchet is very nice, tight crisp clicks and wonderful chrome and finish on both the ratchet and socket. The handle is large, knurled, fits me great. I think I will get many happy years out of these products.

I have the Wright 4400 with the black rubber grip I bought for $5.00 at the local flea market. It is quality tool. You don't hear about them much in the automotive industry but it is a well respected name in the industrial world.

What tool store did you make the purchase? I have not seen Wright in any tool stores here in California.

I have that ratchet along with some other Wright ratchets I picked up last year. That ratchet is great. I got that one used on Ebay. When I got it I took it apart and the internals had only a little wear. Cleaned and lubed with Superlube. Works great and the 15 inch handle gives great leverage. Made it easy to rotate my 350 Chevy engine last summer and didn't have to keep repositioning it as I would have with a breaker bar. Great company and great tools.

The 3/8 flex head ratchet I bought new and when I got it the chrome looked so good I really wanted to just put it in a display to show it off. And the 3/8 palm ratchet is a remarkable for its size.

Their website *****. Not even one wright tool listed.

Yes Summits tools website does ****. But the tools are there, also Kamloops and Burnaby. Also Lordco sells Wright tools, not in store but they can order them.
